Virtual Reality

Virtual Reality is a way to “enter” a video game you put on a helmet and the character you play as reacts to your movements. I put enter in quotes because it’s supposed to be realistic enough to make you think you’re actually in the game.

There’s already been one released for testing, the Oculus Rift. The Oculus rift requires a computer running Microsoft windows. There have been games released for it already like Minecraft, and Elite: Dangerous. It’s in beta at the moment and said to be released early 2016. I’m pumped to see the videos of it when it’s released because the Oculus team, started by Palmer Luckey, already made pretty good progress  in 3 years. There will be bugs with it when it’s released which could potentially mean silliness ensues.
